A Simple Way to Cut Oil Costs

The Frymate SG14 deep fryer filter helps commercial kitchens get more life out of every batch of fryer oil. Sized at 13 1/2" x 14" for 40 to 50 lb. fryers such as the Pitco SG14, SGH50 and SE14, it sits in place of the standard fryer rack and catches crumbs, breading and batter before they sink into the cold zone. Cleaner oil lasts up to 40% longer, which means fewer oil changes, lower oil spend and less downtime during service.

    550 Micron Stainless Steel Mesh

The filter is built from Type 304 stainless steel with a precision 550 micron fine mesh. It is fine enough to trap the particles that darken and break down oil, yet open enough to let hot oil circulate freely so your fryer heats and recovers as normal. The rigid frame holds its shape through years of daily use in a busy kitchen.

Better Tasting Food, Batch After Batch

Burnt crumbs left in the fry pot carry off-flavours into everything you cook. By lifting that debris out throughout the day, the Frymate filter keeps oil clearer and helps fries, chicken, fish and appetizers come out consistently golden with a cleaner taste. It also reduces the need to skim the fryer between orders.

Fast to Empty and Easy to Clean

An elevated stainless steel handle lets staff lift the filter out safely, turn it over a sheet pan and tap out the crumbs in seconds. For best results, empty it about once an hour depending on volume. At the end of the day it goes straight into the dishwasher, or it can be washed by hand with hot water and degreaser.

Made in the USA and Backed by Frymate

Each Frymate filter is manufactured in the USA and covered by a 1 year warranty on the frame, handle and mesh welding. The SG14 fits a wide range of Pitco, Dean and Frymaster fryers, and it works alongside your existing fine particle filtration for the cleanest possible oil.

    Questions

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Common questions from operators.

Which fryers does the Frymate SG14 filter fit?

The SG14 measures 13 1/2" x 14" and fits fryer models SG14, SGH50, SE14, SGBNB14, F14RSCLV, SM150GN, SCFHD250GNCS and SCFHD350GNCS. That covers popular Pitco 40 to 50 lb. gas and electric fryers along with matching Dean and Frymaster models. If your model is not listed, contact our team and we will confirm the right size before you order.

Is the SG14 a good fit for a busy fried chicken or fish and chips menu?

Yes. Breaded and battered foods shed the most crumbs, and those particles are what darken and break down fryer oil fastest. The 550 micron mesh catches that debris before it reaches the cold zone, so high-volume chicken, fish and wing operations typically see the biggest savings on oil.

Can I still use my Pitco fryer's built-in filtration with this filter?

Yes. The SG14 handles the larger crumbs and batter during service, while your built-in or portable filtration system removes fine particles at the end of the day. Using both together keeps oil cleaner for longer than either method on its own.
