Bar Utensils in Toronto & Canada

Bar utensils are the small hand tools behind every drink — measuring a pour, straining a cocktail, rimming a glass, and opening a bottle — and you'll need them whenever you're setting up a new bar, restocking a busy one, or adding cocktails to the menu. Winco covers the whole set, starting with the Stainless Steel Jigger for consistent pours and the 4 Prong Stainless Steel Bar Strainer, which rests on the glass to keep ice out of the drink. A Glass Rimmer handles salted and sugared rims for margaritas, the Waiter’s Cork Screw opens wine at the table, and the Mounted Bottle Opener stays fixed at the well for fast service. Behind the bar, the 7" 5-Pronged Ice Tong keeps bare hands off the ice. We stock and ship bar utensils out of Vaughan to bars, pubs, and lounges across Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton, and to the rest of Canada beyond the GTA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions we hear from operators.

What size jigger do I need for a bar?

A jigger is a two-sided measuring cup for spirits, and the right size depends on the pours in your recipes. The Winco Stainless Steel Jigger comes in three double-sided sizes: 1/2 oz and 1 oz for liqueurs, vermouth, and other small measures, 3/4 oz and 1 1/4 oz for recipes that call for those in-between amounts, and 1 oz and 1 1/2 oz, a good all-round pick for a standard cocktail pour or shot. Flip the jigger to switch between the two measures. If your bar runs a mix of classic and house cocktails, keeping two sizes behind the bar saves guessing, and it keeps every drink tasting the same no matter who's pouring.

What's the difference between a julep strainer and a bar strainer?

Both keep ice out of the glass, but they work a little differently. The Winco 4 Prong Stainless Steel Bar Strainer uses its prongs to rest across the top of the glass, while the Winco Stainless Steel Julep Strainer is made for straining and draining drinks at the bar. For drinks with fresh citrus, the Winco Cocktail/Powdered Sugar Strainer/Sifter has a fine 3" mesh that catches pulp and small seeds, and it doubles as a sifter for a light dusting of powdered sugar, cocoa, or nutmeg. If you're building a cocktail menu with a lot of fresh juice, a fine mesh strainer is worth having next to your main one.

How do you rim a glass with salt or sugar?

Rimming a glass takes three steps: wet the rim, press it into the salt or sugar, and serve. The Winco Glass Rimmer is built for that, with a sponge that holds lime juice or syrup and separate tiers for the salt or sugar, so it's ready as soon as a margarita order comes in. It comes in 2 tier and 3 tier sizes, is NSF listed, and the sponge wears out over time, so keep a Winco Replacement Sponge for Glass Rimmer on hand (it fits the GR-2 and GR-3). For fresh lime juice, a Winco Handheld Citrus Squeezer comes in 2 1/2", 3", and 3 1/2" sizes and is dishwasher safe. If margaritas are on your menu, a rimmer speeds up service on every order.
