Meat Mixers

Commercial Meat Mixers in Toronto & Canada

Get a more even, consistent blend into ground meat, sausage, and marinated cuts with Phoenix Food Equipment's Meat Mixers collection. Most of our lineup comes from Omcan, with electric meat mixers running from a compact 66 lb model up to a 396 lb heavy-duty unit, including several tilting designs for easier unloading. LEM covers the smaller end of the range with a 20 lb manual meat mixer and 25 and 50 lb tilting mixer attachments that mount onto an existing LEM grinder instead of standing alone. Want grinding and mixing in one machine? Pro-Cut and Hobart both build meat grinder/mixer combo units with hopper capacities from 110 to 200 lbs, built for a butcher shop or processor doing higher volume. Need a standalone grinder instead? Our Meat Grinders collection covers that side of the line separately. Whether you're running a butcher shop in Toronto, a sausage kitchen in Mississauga, or a restaurant right here in Vaughan, we ship meat mixers across the GTA — Hamilton and Markham included — and nationwide across Canada.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions we hear from operators.

What's the difference between a standalone meat mixer and a meat mixer attachment?

A standalone meat mixer, like our Omcan electric units, has its own motor and bowl, so it runs as a complete machine on its own. A meat mixer attachment, like our LEM Big Bite tilting mixers, instead mounts onto the power head of an existing LEM meat grinder, giving a smaller operation mixing capability without buying a second standalone machine. We carry both, so you can add mixing to a grinder you already own or run it as its own dedicated machine.

What's the difference between a meat mixer and a meat grinder/mixer combo unit?

A standalone meat mixer, like our Omcan lineup, only mixes — you'd pair it with a separate grinder to fully process meat from cut to sausage. A combo unit built by Pro-Cut and Hobart grinds and mixes in the same machine instead, with hopper capacities from 110 to 200 lbs, saving floor space and cutting out a step for a processor running higher volume. We carry both setups, so you can decide whether a dedicated mixer or an all-in-one combo machine fits your line better.

What size meat mixer do I need?

Meat mixer sizing comes down to batch volume. Our LEM 20 lb manual mixer suits a small or low-volume operation, a 66 to 110 lb Omcan electric mixer covers most butcher shops and delis, and a 176 to 396 lb heavy-duty Omcan unit handles a high-volume processor mixing large batches at once. If you're grinding and mixing in one step, our Pro-Cut and Hobart combo units run 110 to 200 lb hopper capacities instead. We stock meat mixers across that full range.
