Bar Service Mats & Spill Mats in Toronto & Canada
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions we hear from operators.
What is a bar mat used for?
A bar mat catches spills and drips at the bar and gives glasses and tools a place to rest, which helps keep the bar top drier and the station tidier during a busy shift. Service mats like the Winco Bar Service Mat go where drinks are poured and set down, while a rail mat like the Winco Bar Rail Spill Mat lines the edge of the bar. For more of what a bar needs, browse our bar equipment collection.
What size bar mat do I need?
Measure the spot you want to cover first. The Winco Bar Service Mat measures 18″ x 12″, which suits a service station or a stretch of open bar top. The Winco Bar Rail Spill Mat measures 27″ x 3 1/4″, a long, narrow shape made for the rail along the front edge of the bar.
What does NSF listed mean on a bar mat?
NSF listed means the product has been evaluated by NSF International for use in food service. Both the Winco Bar Service Mat and the Winco Bar Rail Spill Mat are NSF listed. Requirements can vary, so check with your local public health unit if you're unsure what your bar needs.
