A Simple Way to Cut Oil Costs

The Frymate AF45 deep fryer filter helps commercial kitchens get more life out of every batch of fryer oil. Sized at 13 3/4" x 13 3/4" for 40 to 50 lb. fryers such as the American Range AF-45 and Atosa ATFS-40, it sits in place of the standard fryer rack and catches crumbs, breading and batter before they sink into the cold zone. Cleaner oil lasts up to 40% longer, which means fewer oil changes, lower oil spend and less downtime during service.

    550 Micron Stainless Steel Mesh

The filter is built from Type 304 stainless steel with a precision 550 micron fine mesh. It is fine enough to trap the particles that darken and break down oil, yet open enough to let hot oil circulate freely so your fryer heats and recovers as normal. The rigid frame holds its shape through years of daily use in a busy kitchen.

Better Tasting Food, Batch After Batch

Burnt crumbs left in the fry pot carry off-flavours into everything you cook. By lifting that debris out throughout the day, the Frymate filter keeps oil clearer and helps fries, chicken, fish and appetizers come out consistently golden with a cleaner taste. It also reduces the need to skim the fryer between orders.

Fast to Empty and Easy to Clean

An elevated stainless steel handle lets staff lift the filter out safely, turn it over a sheet pan and tap out the crumbs in seconds. For best results, empty it about once an hour depending on volume. At the end of the day it goes straight into the dishwasher, or it can be washed by hand with hot water and degreaser.

Made in the USA and Backed by Frymate

Each Frymate filter is manufactured in the USA and covered by a 1 year warranty on the frame, handle and mesh welding. The AF45 fits a wide range of American Range, Atosa CookRite and Imperial fryers, and it works alongside your existing fine particle filtration for the cleanest possible oil.

    Questions

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Common questions from operators.

Which fryers does the Frymate AF45 filter fit?

The AF45 measures 13 3/4" x 13 3/4" and fits fryer models AF35, AF45, AF50, ATFS40, ATFS50, F4, IFS40, IFS50, CF40, CF50, PTF4, FM120, 40D, 45C, QL12, RFT50 and SB45SS, including American Range, Atosa CookRite and Imperial 40 to 50 lb. fryers. If your model is not listed, measure the bottom of your fry pot or contact our team and we will confirm the right size before you order.

How is a Frymate filter different from the rack that came with my fryer?

A standard fryer rack only keeps baskets off the burner tubes or elements, so crumbs fall straight through and settle in the cold zone where they burn and break down the oil. The Frymate AF45 replaces that rack with a 550 micron stainless steel mesh tray that catches those particles so you can lift them out, which is how operators extend oil life by up to 40%.

How often should the AF45 filter be emptied?

For most kitchens, emptying the filter about once an hour works well, with more frequent emptying during heavy breaded or battered production. Lift it out with the handle, turn it upside down over a sheet pan and tap out the crumbs. Clean it daily in the dishwasher or with hot soapy water so carbon does not build up on the mesh.
