TurboChef High Speed Ovens & Conveyor Ovens in Toronto & Canada

TurboChef was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Carrollton, Texas, and it's been part of the Middleby Corporation since 2009. With more than 400,000 ovens installed, it makes high speed ovens, ventless pizza ovens, and conveyor ovens. Why choose TurboChef over a speed oven brand like Merrychef? TurboChef ovens combine microwave power with top and bottom air impingement, and built in catalytic converters let many models run without a hood. TurboChef ovens come with a 1 year parts and labour warranty, handled by TurboChef. One standout is the TurboChef FRE-9600 The Fire High Speed Pizza Oven. It reaches 842°F and can bake a 14 inch pizza in as little as 90 seconds, and its ventless design means it can go almost anywhere in your kitchen. We also carry the TurboChef HCW-9500 Series HHC 2620 Conveyor Oven, which cooks up to 100 twelve inch pizzas an hour. TurboChef ovens are typically special order with an estimated lead time of 1-4 weeks. Phoenix Food Equipment ships TurboChef from Vaughan across Toronto, the GTA, and the rest of Canada and the USA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions we hear from operators.

What is the warranty on TurboChef products?

TurboChef handles the warranty on its ovens. Every TurboChef speed oven, pizza oven, and conveyor oven we carry comes with a 1 year parts and labour warranty. We can assist with any brand that isn't in-house, so if you have any questions, or your oven arrives defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us at sales@phoenixfe.ca or 1-833-669-8003.

Do TurboChef ovens need a hood?

Many don't. TurboChef speed ovens like the TurboChef i3-9500-401 i3 Touch High Speed Oven have a built in catalytic converter and are listed for ventless operation, and the Fire pizza oven needs no Type I or Type II hood. The one exception is fatty raw proteins like bone in chicken or raw burgers, which may still need ventilation. Local codes vary, so check with your inspector. If you have questions about your space, contact us.

What's the difference between a TurboChef speed oven and a conveyor oven?

A speed oven like the i3, i5, or Sota combines microwave power with air impingement to cook single orders very quickly, which suits cafés and quick service menus. A conveyor oven like the HHC 1618, 2020, or 2620 moves food through on a belt with independently controlled top and bottom blowers, so it's built for steady, high volume pizza and sandwich production. If you're not sure which fits your kitchen, contact us and we'll help you compare options.
