Pitco Commercial Deep Fryers in Toronto & Canada

Pitco was founded in 1918 by J.C. Pitman, a Boston tinsmith, and it's been part of the Middleby Corporation since 1981. It still assembles its fryers in Bow, New Hampshire, and its patented Frialator design from 1959 helped prevent food particles from burning in the oil. Why choose Pitco over a fryer brand like Vulcan? Pitco has focused on commercial frying for over 100 years, and every Pitco fryer we carry is made in the USA and NSF, CSA, or UL certified. Pitco fryers come with a 1 year limited parts and labour warranty, handled by Pitco. One standout is the Pitco SG14S Natural Gas/Propane 40-50LB Fryer. Its large cold zone collects crumbs below the heat so they don't burn and break down your oil. We also carry our best seller, the Energy Star rated Pitco VF65 High Efficiency Fryer. The SG14S and SG18S are quick ship, while other models have an estimated lead time of 1-2 weeks. Phoenix Food Equipment ships Pitco from Vaughan across Toronto, the GTA, and the rest of Canada and the USA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions we hear from operators.

What is the warranty on Pitco products?

Pitco handles the warranty on its fryers. The Pitco gas and electric fryers we carry come with a 1 year limited parts and labour warranty. We can assist with any brand that isn't in-house, so if you have any questions, or your fryer arrives defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us at sales@phoenixfe.ca or 1-833-669-8003.

Where are Pitco fryers made?

Pitco fryers are made in the USA. The company assembles its fryers in Bow, New Hampshire, and every Pitco fryer we carry lists Made in USA on its product page. If you have questions about a specific model, contact us and we'll help.

Should I choose a Pitco SG or VF fryer?

The SG series, like the SG14S and SG18S, uses a large cold zone to protect your oil and handles high volume frying with 40 to 90 lbs of oil. The VF series, like the VF35 and VF65, is Energy Star rated, so it's built to use less gas. Both come in natural gas or propane. For an electric option, the E35 holds 35 lbs of oil. If you're not sure which model fits your kitchen, contact us and we'll help you compare options.
