Metro's warranty goes through the manufacturer and depends on the product. Mightylite insulated food carriers and the HS1848 heated shelf carry 2 years, C5 heated holding cabinets carry 1 year parts and labour, and the polymer utility carts carry 1 year. Where are Metro products made?

Metro is based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and it's been part of the Ali Group since 2015. The C5 heated holding cabinets and HS1848 heated shelf we carry are made in the USA and are NSF and UL certified. For the country of manufacture on a carrier, cart, or accessory, contact us with the model number and we'll confirm it before you order.

How long do Metro Mightylite food carriers keep food hot?

Metro Mightylite carriers keep hot or cold food at temperature for 5+ hours. They're made from recyclable expanded polypropylene, so they're light and easy to carry, and they hold full, 1/2, and 1/3 size pans from 2 1/2 to 8 inches deep. For longer holds, the MLH1 carrier heater fits the ML180, ML300, and ML400 and runs between 150°F and 200°F. We also carry a matching dolly and carrying strap.
