Kilotech Commercial Scales in Toronto & Canada

Kilotech Commercial Scales in Toronto & Canada

Kilotech has built commercial and industrial scales since 1968 from its home in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Why choose Kilotech over a scale brand like Detecto? Kilotech is a Canadian company whose Legal for Trade scales and technicians are government certified, so it's a strong fit if you sell food by weight at the counter. Kilotech handles its own warranty, which runs from 6 months to 2 years depending on the scale, and we have a Kilotech trained technician right here in house, so you can call us directly for help with setup, programming, and service. One standout is the Kilotech LE.3K Price Computing Scale. It weighs, prices, and prints labels in one step, stores up to 6,500 PLUs, and connects over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and every LE.3K comes with 2 hours of setup and programming assistance. We also carry the Kilotech KPC Series Portioning Scale, with a stainless steel platform and a raised display. Most Kilotech scales are quick ship and usually go out within 1-2 business days, while a few models have an estimated lead time of 2-7 days. Phoenix Food Equipment ships Kilotech from Vaughan across Toronto, the GTA, and the rest of Canada and the USA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions we hear from operators.

What is the warranty on Kilotech products?

Kilotech handles the warranty on its scales, and the term depends on the model. Most of the digital portioning and bench scales we carry have a 1 year warranty, the LE.3K price computing scale has 2 years, and the KHS hanging scale, KAM Series dial scales, and KPC-SS Series have 6 months. Batteries and adapters carry 90 days. We can assist with any brand that isn't in-house, so if you have any questions, or your scale arrives defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us at sales@phoenixfe.ca or 1-833-669-8003.

Do I need a Legal for Trade scale?

You do if you sell products by variable weight, where the weight changes with each sale, like deli meats, cheese, or bulk produce at the counter. Prepackaged goods don't need one. Kilotech says its Legal for Trade scales and its technicians are government certified, and the LE.3K price computing scale we carry is NTEP certified. For Measurement Canada approval on a specific model, contact us with the model number and we'll confirm it before you order.

Can you help set up or service my Kilotech scale?

Yes. Kilotech service is something few dealers offer, and we have a technician in house who's trained on Kilotech scales. That means you can call us for help setting up a new scale, programming PLUs and labels on a price computing scale like the LE.3K, or troubleshooting a scale that isn't reading correctly. Every LE.3K also comes with 2 hours of setup and programming assistance. For help with your Kilotech scale, contact us or call 1-833-669-8003.
