Does a Crown steamer need a water line?

Not always. The Crown EPX and EPXN countertop steaming cabinets are manual fill and manual drain, so no plumbing is required and they only need an electrical hookup. The SX models auto fill and auto drain, the SXN models auto fill with a manual drain, and the larger cabinet base steamers like the ECX-10-24 and GSX Series fill and drain automatically.
