A Square Glass Heated Showcase for Full-Service Counters
The Omcan 48388 is a 48" floor model display warmer that keeps hot food at safe serving temperatures while putting it on full display. Panoramic square glass on the front and sides gives customers a clear view of every item, and the rear sliding door lets staff serve and restock from behind the counter. Its 2-shelf, counter-height profile makes it a strong choice for pizzerias and bakeries that want to show off larger items such as whole pizzas and trays of baked goods.
16.4 cu. ft. of Capacity on 2 Shelves
With 16.4 cu. ft. (465 L) of heated space and 2 metal shelves, the 48388 gives you room to merchandise pizza slices, patties, pastries, roasted chicken and other hot grab-and-serve items in an organized, attractive layout. The 47" overall height places the display at a comfortable viewing level without the need for a separate stand.
Attention-Grabbing LED Lighting
Warm LED lighting highlights colour and texture so food looks fresh and inviting throughout the day. Combined with the sleek stainless steel cabinet, the case adds a premium look to bakeries, pizzerias, delis and convenience stores while encouraging customers to add one more item to their order.
Precise, Consistent Heat
A digital temperature controller holds the cabinet anywhere from 30°C to 60°C (86°F to 140°F), so you can match the setting to the product you are serving. Sturdy metal construction and a fully enclosed design help retain heat and protect food from contamination, which keeps quality high and supports food safety requirements.
Easy to Install and Move
Four casters make it simple to roll the 48388 into place and move it for cleaning. It runs on a standard 110V outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug and draws only 800W, so no special electrical work is required. The unit is cETLus and ETL Sanitation certified and backed by Omcan's 1 year parts and labour warranty.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from operators.
What is the difference between square glass and curved glass display warmers?
Square glass cases like the Omcan 48388 have a modern, straight-lined look and make the most of the interior space right up to the glass, which helps with larger trays and pizza boxes. Curved glass cases offer a softer, traditional look and reduce reflection at an angle. Both hold food at the same temperatures.
What foods can I display in the Omcan 48388?
It is well suited to pizza slices and whole pies, patties, empanadas, croissants and other baked goods, fried chicken, and wrapped hot sandwiches. Its 30°C to 60°C range is designed for holding already cooked food at serving temperature, not for cooking.
Does the 48388 need a special electrical outlet?
No. It uses 800W at 110V (7A) and comes with a NEMA 5-15P plug, so it works with a standard household-style 15A outlet.
