View full detailsThis collection zeroes in on the sheet pan and steam table pan racks that keep pans organized and off countertops between bakes or during service. Winco's ALRK series covers welded aluminum racks from 10 to 30 tiers with 2" to 3" spacing, while Atosa's end-load racks, like the Atosa SPA16K1824X 15-Tier Sheet Pan Rack, load pans from the side rather than the front — a layout some kitchens prefer for tight aisle space. For steam table and food pans specifically, the Winco SRK-36 Steam Table Pan Rack and the double side-load Winco SRK-12D cover single and double-sided loading setups. Curtron's rack covers, insulated and uncovered, keep loaded pans protected and warm in transit, and Winco sells matching covers sized to its own 10-, 20-, and 30-tier racks. Rounding out the collection, the Winco Aluminum Bus Bin/Lug Box Cart moves bins and pans together through a dish room, and Unox's rack and trolley slides 16 full-size pans in and out of a combi oven in one trip. From a bakery in Toronto to a dish room in Mississauga, we deliver pan and bin racks across the GTA — Markham and Brampton included — and nationwide across Canada, right from our home base in Vaughan.
Common questions we hear from operators.
A welded sheet pan rack, like Winco's ALRK series, has a fixed frame that loads pans from the front, sliding each tray in along fixed rails — sturdy and straightforward, but it needs clearance in front of the rack to load and unload. An end-load rack, like the Atosa SPA16K1824X 15-Tier Sheet Pan Rack, loads from the side instead, which works better against a wall or in a tight aisle where there's no room to pull a rack away from the wall for front loading. Front-load racks are generally the more common choice for open floor space, while end-load racks suit a fixed spot along a wall where side access is the only option. Both hold the same standard sheet pans — the loading direction is the real difference.
A sheet pan rack cover, like Curtron's SUPRO-14, keeps dust, pests, and kitchen debris off pans that are staged and waiting to go into the oven or cool down after baking — genuinely useful in an open bakery area where a rack sits out for a while between uses. An insulated cover, like Curtron's SUPRO-IC, adds a layer that helps hold heat or cold during transport, which matters more for moving finished product between a kitchen and a service area than for staging raw dough. Winco also sells covers sized specifically to its own 10-, 20-, and 30-tier racks, so a cover fits without needing custom measurements. If a rack sits in a high-traffic or open area, a cover is worth adding; a rack tucked in a back corner may not need one.
A sheet pan rack, like Winco's ALRK series, is built around standard sheet pan dimensions and bakery-style tier spacing, made for holding trays of baked goods or prepped items before or after the oven. A steam table pan rack, like the Winco SRK-36 Steam Table Pan Rack, is sized instead for steam table and hotel pans — deeper and a different footprint than a flat sheet pan — and is built for holding food pans during prep or service rather than baking. Using the wrong rack for the wrong pan size usually means pans that don't sit level or slide too loosely on the rails. A bakery running sheet pans needs the ALRK-style rack; a kitchen running steam table pans for service needs the SRK-style rack instead.
