The two are similar in function but differ in build and precision. The Kilotech KPS Series has a fixed 12.5" x 11.75" anti-slip weighing surface and comes in 150 lb or 400 lb capacity, measuring in pounds and kilograms. The Kilotech KPS-SS Series steps up to a larger, removable stainless steel platform (14" x 16") in 130 lb or 330 lb capacity, and adds ounce readings alongside lb and kg for finer portioning work.
