A Wide Stainless Display for High-Traffic Self-Serve
The Omcan 41469 is a 48" open air refrigerator with a 430 stainless steel exterior. It offers 24.7 cu. ft. (700 L) of refrigerated display space in a 48" width that gives cafeterias, food courts and busy delis room for several product categories. The bright stainless finish matches existing kitchen and food service equipment and gives your self-serve area a clean, professional look.
Easy-to-Clean 430 Stainless Steel
The 430 stainless steel exterior resists daily wear, wipes clean quickly and keeps a consistent look alongside other stainless equipment in your operation. LED lighting under each shelf, plus an illuminated header, puts every product in full view and gives you a bright space to display your brand or menu. Tempered glass side panels open the case up so customers can see product from the aisle.
Consistent Temperatures All Day
A ventilated cooling system with automatic defrost delivers even airflow from top to bottom, while the digital temperature controller and display hold product within 2°C to 10°C (35.6°F to 50°F). Eco-friendly R290 refrigerant provides efficient, environmentally responsible cooling.
Turn Browsers Into Buyers
An open front removes the barrier of a door, letting customers see, reach and buy in a single motion. That speed matters during breakfast and lunch rushes, when lines move faster and staff can focus on preparing food instead of handing out bottled drinks and packaged meals. Place the 41469 along the main customer path or next to the checkout to capture impulse purchases, and use the illuminated header to promote combos, daily specials or new items.
Built for Daily Service
Four adjustable shelves let you organize drinks, salads, sandwiches and desserts by category, and four casters make the 41469 easy to move for cleaning. A pull-down night curtain closes the open front after hours to hold cold air in and reduce energy use. This model runs on 220V power with a NEMA 6-20P plug, so plan for a dedicated 220V circuit before delivery. It is cETLus and ETL Sanitation certified and backed by 2 years parts and labour plus 5 years compressor coverage.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from operators.
What makes the Omcan 41469 better than a glass door merchandiser?
An open air refrigerator removes the door between your customer and the product. Shoppers can see and grab items in one motion, which speeds up lines and typically lifts impulse sales of drinks, salads and sandwiches compared with a glass door cooler. The 41469 pairs that open front with 24.7 cu. ft. (700 L) of display space, ventilated cooling, LED lighting and a night curtain, so you get self-serve convenience without giving up temperature control.
What is the difference between the Omcan 41469 and the 48266?
The 41469 and 48266 share the same 48" size, 24.7 cu. ft. capacity, cooling system, lighting and shelving. The only difference is the exterior finish: the 41469 is 430 stainless steel, while the 48266 is black. Choose the finish that best matches your décor and existing equipment.
Where should an open air refrigerator be installed?
Open air cases hold temperature best away from direct sunlight, entrance doors, heat-producing equipment and strong HVAC drafts, which can pull cold air out of the open front. Leave the ventilation clearances listed in the product manual, keep product below the load line, and use the night curtain when the store is closed to reduce energy use and help the unit hold temperature.
What electrical connection does the Omcan 41469 need?
The 41469 runs on 220V and ships with a NEMA 6-20P plug, so it needs a matching 220V, 20 amp receptacle on a dedicated circuit. Have a licensed electrician confirm your supply before delivery so the unit can be plugged in and running the day it arrives.
