The Atosa AEFF-50-2B is a double battery commercial electric deep fryer with two 50 lb tanks and a built-in oil filtration system. It is built for quick service restaurants, pubs, chicken and fish shops and high-volume kitchens that fry throughout the day and want to protect their oil investment.
A built-in filtration system with pump lets staff filter oil right at the fryer instead of using a separate portable filter. Regular filtering removes crumbs and carbon that break oil down, which helps oil last longer, keeps fried food tasting clean and reduces the risk of handling hot oil. The filter uses Atosa FP-1728-5 filter paper.
Order the AEFF-50-2B with full vats for large batches of fries, wings and breaded proteins, or as the AEFF-50-2TB with a 50 lb full vat on the left and two 25 lb split tanks on the right. Split vats let you fry smaller batches or keep allergen-sensitive items and seafood separate from the rest of the menu.
Fully programmable electronic controls let you set precise times and temperatures for each menu item, so every batch comes out the same no matter who is on the line. Two fryer baskets per tank keep production moving during the rush.
The AEFF-50-2B adds Atosa's automatic basket lift system, which raises the baskets out of the oil when the cook cycle ends. Food is not over-fried when staff are busy at another station, giving more consistent colour and texture and freeing cooks to work on other tasks. For the same fryer without auto lift, see the AEFF-50-2.
Each full vat is powered by 17 kW on 208V three phase service, with stainless steel tanks for durability and easy cleaning. Two (2) casters at the rear and two (2) legs at the front make it easy to roll the battery out for cleaning, and the AEFF-50-2B is ETL certified and backed by a 1 year parts and labour warranty.

Questions
Common questions from operators.
When the programmed cook time ends, the auto lift raises the baskets out of the oil on its own. Food stops cooking at exactly the right moment even if staff are plating or taking an order, which gives more consistent results, less over-fried product and less waste. It is especially useful in busy quick service kitchens with newer staff.
Choose full vats if you fry large batches of a few items, such as fries and wings. The split vat AEFF-50-2TB gives you a 50 lb full vat on the left and two 25 lb split tanks on the right, which suits menus with many smaller orders or items that should be fried separately, such as fish, gluten-free items or desserts, so flavours and allergens do not transfer between foods.
The AEFF-50-2B runs on 208V three phase power and requires 48A per wire with a minimum 6/4 AWG wire size. Each full vat draws 17 kW and each split vat half draws 8.5 kW. Installation should be completed by a licensed electrician. Contact us before ordering if your building has 240V or single phase service so we can confirm the right setup.
