Omcan Commercial Kitchen Equipment & Supplies in Toronto & Canada

Omcan Commercial Kitchen Equipment & Supplies in Toronto & Canada

Omcan has supplied foodservice businesses since 1951 from its home base in Mississauga, Ontario, and today it stocks more than 6,500 items across distribution centres in Canada and the USA. Its range covers food prep, refrigeration, cooking equipment, sinks, carts, and kitchen supplies. Why choose Omcan over a distributor like Eurodib? Omcan sources its equipment from manufacturers around the world rather than focusing on Europe, so its catalogue is more than three times the size. Omcan's warranty goes through the manufacturer and depends on the product, with most electrical equipment carrying 1 year parts and labour. One standout is the Omcan 46788 Portable Hand Sink with Water Heater Tank & Pump. It heats its own water and carries fresh and waste water tanks, so you can set up a hot water hand sink at events and outdoor locations with no plumbing. We also carry the Omcan 80889 Pizza Dough Proofing Box, a stackable polypropylene box that keeps dough fresh. Most Omcan products are quick ship and usually go out within 1-2 business days. Phoenix Food Equipment ships Omcan from Vaughan across Toronto, the GTA, and the rest of Canada. For USA orders, please contact us to confirm availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions we hear from operators.

What is the warranty on Omcan products?

Omcan's warranty goes through the manufacturer, and the terms depend on the product. Most electrical equipment, like food warmers, fryers, and potato peelers, carries 1 year parts and labour. Some stainless steel hand sinks carry 180 days, and smallwares like dough boxes and storage containers carry 30 days. Check the product page for your model. We can assist with any brand that isn't in-house, so if you have any questions, or your item arrives defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us at sales@phoenixfe.ca or 1-833-669-8003.

Where are Omcan products made?

Omcan is based in Mississauga, Ontario, and it sources its equipment from manufacturers around the world, so the country of manufacture depends on the product. Many of its food warmers, fryers, and sinks are made in China, while the Omcan 13443 Electric Potato Peeler is made in Brazil. Each product page lists its certifications, such as NSF or ETL. For a specific model, contact us with the model number and we'll confirm it before you order.

Is Omcan a Canadian company?

Yes. Omcan was founded in 1951, and its head office and main distribution centre are in Mississauga, Ontario. It also runs distribution centres in California and New York, with more than 175,000 square feet of warehouse space and over 6,500 items in stock. We carry a wide range of Omcan equipment and supplies, from dough boxes and dish racks to hand sinks, food warmers, and fryers. If you're not sure which model fits your kitchen, contact us and we'll help you compare options.
