Globe Commercial Mixers, Slicers & Panini Grills in Toronto & Canada

Globe's roots go back to the Globe Slicing Machine Company of 1921, and Globe Food Equipment has been based in Dayton, Ohio since 1991. Now part of the Middleby Corporation, Globe makes slicers, planetary and spiral mixers, and countertop cooking and prep equipment. Why choose Globe over a mixer brand like Hobart? Globe's planetary mixers are gear driven with heavy duty construction, and it backs its mixers and slicers with a 2 year parts and labour warranty through the manufacturer, while panini grills, fryers, and vacuum packaging machines carry 1 year. One standout is the Globe G12 Manual Aluminum Meat Slicer. Globe invented and patented the gravity feed slicer, and the G12 brings that slicing experience to a compact countertop unit with a 35° angled food chute and a built in two stone sharpener. We also carry the Globe SP05 Commercial Planetary Mixer, a 5 quart countertop mixer with 10 speeds. The G12 and Globe countertop fryers are quick ship, while other models have an estimated lead time of 4-8 days. Phoenix Food Equipment ships Globe from Vaughan across Toronto, the GTA, and the rest of Canada. Globe products aren't available for shipping to the USA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions we hear from operators.

What is the warranty on Globe products?

Globe's warranty goes through the manufacturer and depends on the product. Mixers and slicers carry 2 years parts and labour, excluding wear items like belts and knives, and mixer agitators and hooks have 1 year parts only. Panini grills, countertop fryers, vacuum packaging machines, and cheese shredders carry 1 year parts and labour. We can assist with any brand that isn't in-house, so if you have any questions, or your equipment arrives defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us at sales@phoenixfe.ca or 1-833-669-8003.

Where are Globe products made?

Globe Food Equipment is based in Dayton, Ohio, and it's part of the Middleby Corporation. The country of manufacture depends on the product line, and the equipment we carry is ETL, NSF, or UL certified depending on the model. For a specific model, contact us with the model number and we'll confirm it before you order.

Should I choose a Globe planetary mixer or a spiral mixer?

A planetary mixer is the all rounder. Most of Globe's SP series comes with a dough hook, flat beater, and wire whip, in sizes from the 5 quart SP05 up to 80 quarts, so it handles batters, whipped cream, and dough. A spiral mixer, like the GSM130 or GSM175, turns both the bowl and the hook for large batches of bread and pizza dough, and it shifts from first to second speed automatically. If you're not sure which model fits your kitchen, contact us and we'll help you compare options.
